The answer to last weeks question is, even though some of your guesses where really good, Tenchi Universe, Ep.25 "No Need for a Showdown". Specifically around the 13:30 minute mark. I tried to get a screen shot to prove it, but you guys will just have to take my word for it. This week the writer wanted to throw in a reference. I didn't want to, I said "This is so obscure and old people will just think we made it up!", but he said do it anyway. So good luck, it took me like 3 months to figure it out.
Everyone knows He-Man. What with the new series they tried out(which failed) and all the tv shows that make fun of cartoons from the 80s, not to mention the tv show from the 80s.
As for the comic, you can tell they're all trying really hard to remember what he actually did during the fight. I'm sure they are all guilty that they forgot his, surely, vastly important contributions. That's guilt right there, it is.
@ghost I'm sure everyone knows you are referencing the transformers animated movie, but that animation required 2 hands not 1.
The reference is, as almost every other poster stated, much closer to HE-MAN.
My question would be, who is SHE-RA princess of power in this strip? LOL
it is Heman yay the hav been playing the livaction movie alot lost month which is good cuz it kiked ass in a cheesy sorta way that only a true fan of he-man could love adn idont know i liked the onlseries adn the new series but im a fan of cartoons in general soo yeah by the power of grey-skullindeedl lol they had made that refrence in the movie shuan of the dead
