Okay, *now* Loth is pissed

Umm, if the mines are that sensitive, why didn't it set off a massive chain-reaction? Methinks pretty boy is bluffshitting

Don't worry... we have fantasy SCIENCE!

You see, the mines ARE sensitive to um, blunt force trauma. Not a massive concussive blast. And magical heat from the explosion that was generated.

Hmm, the clones are not effected by magical heat? So two fire breathing ladies could blast the area and the two that panic are the real ones?

Actualy I figured it would be better to explain the "they're mines" thing before sending Loth ragdolling between explosions, which is what was suppose to happen.

Sevikira: You okay, Loth?
Loth: I am just pissed off. So that's the way they want to play this? Fine, I'll keep swinging until I connect with something that is squishy, not an explosive, Umm, where is the axe?
Sevikira: Here's what's left of it. [ Hands her the bottom foot of the axe handle. ]
Loth: Hmm, I might need a new plan. Got it. Let's head for the rocks.
Sevikira: Now you're thinking. [The pair start running ] Um, what are you thinking?
Loth: I'm going to start throwing rocks at each pair. The ones that go "Ow," instead of "Boom" are the ones we concentrate our attacks on.
Sevikira: So much for thinking. Well, I guess there is some thinking in there.

So they need a ranged attack to detonate all mines from safe distance.
Hanzoku Friday, the 6th of June at 8:55 AM, 2014 edit delete reply
Indeed, if they're that sensitive, a small rock thrown hard enough is going to easily blow one of the mines. And if they chain-reaction, so much the better... as long as they aren't in the middle of it.

And the real question is, if all the clones are set to explode, why don't they just dog pile on Loth and Sevikira?
SweetJackal Friday, the 6th of June at 2:32 PM, 2014 edit delete reply
I'd say "because they are mines."

Being that they are not some form of mimic with a bomb inside but rather a simple layer of two spells, a stationary mine and an illusion.

Doing two simple things on a large scale like that would be a lot easier.
Ogre Friday, the 6th of June at 11:55 PM, 2014 edit delete reply
If you're going to set up a floating minefield, you might as well go ahead and set it for "homing."

Hell, you'd need fewer mines that way.
Ed8 Saturday, the 7th of June at 1:45 AM, 2014 edit delete reply
They don't get the "homing mines" spell until their next level. (They're hoping to level up after this fight - Loth and Sevi are worth tons of XP)

hmm loth looks a little charred and stunned from the explosion, char could be from her clothes and axe, but im seeing alot of fuel for both of them to start flame breathing on heh heh heh

Hmmm, the twc incentive pic looks like Loth is going for another bodice- destroying moment . . .

See: it doesn't really matter how you draw her eyes, nobody is ever looking at them anyway ;)
