Long discussions about how this would go down (thank you all for the suggestions on the various ways Reznor could go), hopefully everyone will be okay with a broken sword to gut. TWC image Rin-Lin is like a spooky ghost. Now excuse me while I go do my taxes and figure out this whole healthcare.gov stuff.

If you guys can afford to stay off Obamacare, PLEASE DO SO!!! I have yet to see any good stories coming from people who have gone onto the Government Healthcare Websites, whether it's at the Federal or State level. A friend of mine actually just got screwed by his O'Care coverage - He could pay $1K for an MRI under it, or he could pay $500 without using the Government "Coverage."

Well that's easier for me. My full time job gives me healthcare coverage but that's a 40+ hour computer programming job. As for the artist the comic is his job and we make just enough with the comic's donation wall paper to cover operating expenses, not enough to get a private healthcare through it.
Let's not turn this into a political debate about the ACA.

It's all about a little monster girl who thought she could disembowel someone.

Wasn't trying to turn it into politics. Just like everyone else who reads the story, I'm just concerned about you guys being able to stay healthy while putting out a great story and art.

Really liked how Loth took care of the sword problem. :)

I do always smile when I hear storys about the US trying to stuf like this.
Makes you apreciate the way we handle things in Europe

Or up north, here in Canada. Mind you, you still have to pay (through the nose) for perks, like private rooms, TV or phone services, etc. That is what private supplemental health-care insurance is for.

If you aren't finding success stories, you aren't looking. Try asking someone who was uninsurable before whether they're happy with their insurance. Try looking at someone who never *had* insurance before, and now has a chance to address their health problems. The system is imperfect, but it is better than what we had.

Well, so much for "...let's not turn this into a political debate..."

Personally, I'm all for keeping the subject on the topic of voluptuous dragongirl boobs!

(So, do you think Barack Obama is for or against dragongirl boobs? I'm sure Bill Clinton is in favor of them. :D )

It's kind of poetic justice, where the guy kept talking about how his sword can cut through anything, and that his attack was stopped by the broken sword that his sword broke. On top of that, if he'd shut up and just thrusted his sword into Loth, much like how she is doing, he would've won. In short, more then just ok with her using the broken Dragon Fang to win. Think it's the best way to end this fight.

With a sword that big, pretty much can't do much thrusting
Ogre Tuesday, the 18th of March at 11:04 AM, 2014 edit delete reply
Technically, with a sword that big you shouldn't be able to do much swinging, either, but it's not like we don't already know that it's very heavily enchanted.

Thank you - I wasn't 100% right, but close enough to count. Shard of Narsil, ummm... Dragon's Fang FTW!!

Guesticus Tuesday, the 18th of March at 7:43 AM, 2014 edit delete reply
Agree with others: perfectly acceptable outcome (as long as no medics/healers get involved, necrophiliacs on the other hand... :D)

Flint Narutard, was nice enough to present her with a replacement, until hers can be reforged... To the victor go the spoils.

Just noticed that upturned part of "Dragon's Fang" that got cut off by the falling obsidian murder-death blade of cutyouuptonium(tm)
Kreldor Wednesday, the 19th of March at 2:13 AM, 2014 edit delete reply
That piece is part of the hilt she let his sword cut off to drive past his weapon and into his gut. This should cut his not so witty banter short. hehe

Make sure you grease him, Loth, so you can get that nifty replacement he's provided for what he broke.
MidnightDStroyer Friday, the 21st of March at 2:31 AM, 2014 edit delete reply
As Loth has just shown, even a broken DragonsFang sword still saved her life & defeated her enemy. I also gotta point out that a thrust with a broken sword leaves a much messier wound...
