Kinuko isn't a psychopath. At least, not as far as we know.

And wouldn't call Loth or Sev psychopaths either, at least not to Sev's face ;)

He never claimed he _couldn't_ use magic, it's like that old Tom Selleck movie, Quimby Down Under, where he plays this American sharpshooter who, for about 95% of the movie uses a rifle until the end when the bad guy shoots him in the hand/arm thinking that Quimby would now be defenseless/easy target (if you want to know the rest, watch the movie :P)

To be fair to the bad guys, back towards the beginning of the movie one of them offered Quigley a handgun and he said something to the extent that he didn't have much use for handguns, so it wasn't just an assumption on their part - he intentionally gave them the impression that he was no good with one without actually specifically saying so. Ral may have done something along the same lines here by letting her assume that his use of a sword meant that he needed to use one to make u0p for a lack of magical skill.

Stupid villains, they'll believe anything you tell them.

Not having much use for something doesn't mean you don't know how to use it :P

Stupid villains indeed :)

They are all a bit crazy in their own ways. Oh and Batman sounds all the way complete with large brightly colored ZAPs and BOOMs every time they do something.

He's met hundreds of women who weren't nuts. They're the boring ones you don't remember.

I find Yakity Sax to be appropriate battle music no matter the setting.
