*cough* So protip, when you copy something from a word doc to paste it some where else... make sure you copy ALL of it. Anyway,
Loth in Jail or something, she's behind a fence and in chains! I didn't have as much time to work on these pages as I wanted too, I spent most of Tuesday messing around with my computer, and then Wednesday is game night so, ya`know.

Beautiful, beautiful shot of the city.

Given the appearance of Mirtan, it seems to be going through a period of industrialization and growth. I wonder how large is Mirtan relative to other towns...
What is the economy of Mirtan? Are there Bourgeoisie and Proletariat classes? What resources are drawn from the hinterland? Is rising population leading to severe overcrowding?

Comparatively Martin is large. There are only a few cities on this continent bigger than Martin.
And this is a place that encourages indentured servitude to pay off debts.
I'm hoping on my lunch break to update the Wiki Article for this country and city in general.

The Wiki article is all finished for Mirtan, as much info as I want to give away.

Which leaves only one question: Who is Martin? And why are you making fun of his weight? :)

Well... Martin's like Fat Albert. He'll do a song and dance and teach a valuable lesson of proofreading your comments before posting them.

Full of piraty goodness? or am I seeing the old one?

Meanwhile, who played "shake and bake" with the city?

Looks like a miserable place to live.

Not necessarily. It's all relative. That ginormous city sprung up in a little over 20 years - it must have something going for it for that many people (hundreds of thousands? or more?) to have moved there so quickly. Most likely, it offers security and safety. Living in the countryside, you're liable to get killed, kidnapped, or enslaved by someone like Galian and his merry band of thugs, or worse. Of course, there's any number of other reasons people might flock there, but the point is that it must be better than wherever they left. Relative to the shitty conditions in a Medieval-type world, Mirtan is probably a pretty decent place to live.

I'd wager this is the type of place where Galian and his merry band come to unload their stock.
Ed8 Tuesday, the 22nd of January at 9:07 PM, 2013 edit delete reply
Probably, but it's still better to live where he unloads his stock than where he collects it!
