TWC Image is that Cat bard who I don't think we even named. So I guess the election made me sick, or the people I was standing around while waiting to vote, but ever since Tuesday afternoon I've felt like crap... So see you Tuesday.

For those of you in the know the Cat Bard is a tribute to the Vanshir from EverQuest.
Eric may not have been a fan of the Vanshir but both of us grew up playing EQ.

I remember those heady days... bottle of mountain dew, huge tub of popcorn and a raid on the planes... and then 4 hours of my cleric staring at the ground cause if I looked up the spell effects would kill my pc and lag me into nonexistence.

I want to see a chapter about the adventures of the Cat barb and her struggles to super stardom, fudge the rest.

As much as I'd love to give every character their own chapters and what they do, neither the Artist nor Myself have the time to devote to that.
But I'm of the opinion 90% of the NPC's in this series are interesting and deserve their own stories... it's just finding time to do that.

The bard's name isn't Stevens?

Right now the bard is unnamed.

You could campaign really hard and get her last name to be Stevens I suppose. But you'd have to make a convincing argument. It's not really fantasyish in my opinion.

Are you sure?

Because she looks a lot like Cat Stevens to me...

Hahaha, I totally remember that. Especially the staring at the ground part. I miss playing on Cazic... The games just not the same now.

Agreed, the artist & I tried playing it when it went free to play but it just didn't seem as interesting.
I had high hopes for EQ2 but when I made my shadowknight dance and it looked like they'd been possessed by a demon or something I just kinda shook my head and said... well good try SOE. Good Try.

I made a Shadowknight on EQ2 as well, and the sad thing was I basically just trained myself from level 50 on with yellow and red cons (About 30 of them) and AoE'd until they all died without really ever having to be afraid that I'd die... I still play EQ1 here and there but yeah, the Free to play stuff just isn't getting me excited. I think it'd be better if I had people to level with, etc.
