Hmm Galian turns out to be a double crossing jerk, who knew. So I just recently picked up Manga Studio 4 since people keep telling me I need to work on my inking. Not surprising it's kinda different from Photoshop and Illustrator. But for $50 bucks, it's pretty damn good. So maybe down the line I might try inking the comic with it. I did today's TWC image in Manga Studio. Let me know if it looks crisper.

I think today's TWC image looks *adorable*. But... that's not really what you asked. :/

TWC incentive - Cade really will do anything to get some screen time, won't he?

Also, it's kind of refreshing to see an evil villain who refuses to fight battles he can't win. Usually they fail to notice when the heroes beat them over and over again.

The idea behind it, which we hinted to earlier when Galian didn't go after the party, was because he doesn't throw away his resources unless he has to. Which is why his men fight hard for him. Because they respect him as a General and a commander.
Anyone whose served in a military unit knows you tend to get close to people who've "Seen shit" together. More so with a commander whose right there with them.
Is Galian a bad man? No question about that. Is he a bad father... you decide that.

If ever there was a better way to write a complete (figurative) bastard, I've seen it not.

He's a monster, but dang, you make us like him despite that. He has the smarts to know he can't win, AND he knows how to manipulate the circumstances to his advantage, while still having fundamentally flawed motives of greed and lust.
