In today's episode Loth and Ral have a clash of ideals, while Kinuko's fist has a clash with some poor guys face. And as Teddy Roosevelt proved when he conquered Spain, you can't argue with a palm-strike.[citation needed]

I am going to have to side with loth on this one. She makes a really good argument.

I like how it's all edgy and political.
Jepix Friday, the 25th of March at 3:34 AM, 2011 edit delete reply
Loth has a very confused argument here. She mixes up authority, laws and litterature in a crazy-pan and makes strange-omelette.

@guest, Do you? Are you on speaking terms with your ruler? Does he actually listen to your complaints? A single serf?

i will be the first to say that that guy is a cultist assassin, it completly obvious, unlike whatever Guest is trying to say about twitter?

ComicHero Friday, the 25th of March at 1:49 PM, 2011 edit delete reply
Ihave to say Loth makes a valdipoint time and again rulers and politicians have twisted the laws to suit their own needs and wants to say other wise only proves that you being naive there is no goverment that is not corrupt in some shape way or form and Ral's point of view the only reason that does not work in todays world I'd like to direct you the vents happening in Libya right now an army of citzen can not stand up to professional soldiers the only reason the American Revolution worked was because every man need to know how to use a firearm in order to eat and survive, in a world where houman society was perfect Ral is right but we live in imperfect society so Loth is right

@ComicHero: quick question on a unrelated subject...why do people find what the colonies did during the American Revolution acceptable, yet criticize the Confederacy for doing pretty much the exact same thing? nobody seems to be able to guve me a straight well reasoned answer that doesnt involve slavery...

and EFlint and MirlinthLoth: love her expressions, especially in panel 3. But Ral in panel 1 looks a bit odd...
holden Saturday, the 26th of March at 9:22 AM, 2011 edit delete reply
@ crzymnky666: your answer gose with the saying one mans terrorist is another mans freedome fighter. The colonist being our ansesters and the founders of our country are obviously going to be viewed as heros, but the confederates when the confederats rebeled it was against our coutry and nearly tor the us apart so of corse thaey are going to be seen as villians. "Perspective" it is as simple as that
holden Saturday, the 26th of March at 9:28 AM, 2011 edit delete reply
Ral is not wrong either even in hunter gatere societies the societies could not function with out set rules of som sort. Constent conflict would just tear the society apart.
Guest Saturday, the 26th of March at 10:09 AM, 2011 edit delete reply
@Holden & Crzmnky666, you're both wrong. It's cause winners right the history books, and no one likes the south cause it's hot and humid. So... problem solved.
Guest Saturday, the 26th of March at 4:09 PM, 2011 edit delete reply
Because the union was fighting for human freedom and political unity, while the south was fighting for human oppression and political schism. That's why. Several million freed slaves is why.
crzymnky666 Sunday, the 27th of March at 6:47 AM, 2011 edit delete reply
thanks guys for summing that up. and @guest (9:09pm poster) you from the north or south? 'cuz i aint read a history book that biased and one sided yet. The south was fighting against losing their workforce, land, and rights, and the north was trying to keep the colonies together on a system of morals drawn from the bible. Many plantation owners freed all their slaves with no complaints, and then hired them back on for low wages, and or crop sharing.

Oh crap...if i post this, this thread will become longer than the "pantlessness" debate. Oh well.
someguy Sunday, the 27th of March at 9:44 AM, 2011 edit delete reply
crzymnkey its impossible to out-do a debate about pantlessness.
ComicHero Sunday, the 27th of March at 11:52 AM, 2011 edit delete reply
First Guest you are utterly wrong the american civil war didnt become a fight for human rights and freedom until Lincoln's Gettsberg address in which he outlawed slavery only in the south in an effort to bring the southren war effort to a halt and the abolishment of all slave owning wasnt done until Dec. 6th 1865 with the ratifying of the 13th amendment
ComicHero Sunday, the 27th of March at 12:02 PM, 2011 edit delete reply
now crzymnky your are right most plantaion owner did as you said but they cessed because they didnt like the man that was elceted president nor the current treads in congress the reasons lincoln didnt let the south cesseded was the north needed they raw porducts the south provided; cotton, tobacco and other cash crops he also knew that the two were stronger together then part and based on lincoln's interpitation of the constitution no state can leave the union which is an unbreakable alliance between the states unless through magiorty vote or force of arms which the south did neither well they almost won thru force of arms
ComicHero Sunday, the 27th of March at 12:10 PM, 2011 edit delete reply
@holden your one mans terroist is another mans freedom fights brings to mind this question which I pose to you "If a crime fighter fights crime and firefighter fights fire what does a freedom fighter fight?" and if you want to villify any one during that time i beg you villify the right people Sherman , secretary of war Edwin Stanton if those two had their way they would have burned the entire south to the ground and not just atlanta and both were agasint the reconsturction of the south and the last one to villify is John Wilkes-Booth not the south whom fought for what they felt was right not only that ther were many desendants of the founding fathers and the ones that got the ball rolling like Thomas payne fighting on behalf of the south

@Everyone, Just a friendly reminder folks. Not all of our readers are American, nor do they care about our silly internal squabble. Being that I love History I can go on an on about stuff.
But when I wrote this, Russia was in a scrape with Georgia. But if you think about it, this applies to all politics right now. From Egypt to Norway to Australia. It just happens to be more visible in the Arabic Nations right now.
So, let's all play nice while we discuss this... and never be afraid to take this to our forums. Just cause we move from one comic page to the next doesn't mean the discussion needs to stop.

Also, I've made some slight changes to the webpage. Changed the landing page and updated the nav-arrows that seem to give everyone so much trouble. As for the political thing, we all know whose really to blame. It's the damn dirty evil rich people! The poor need to rise up and kill them! Then we'll be rich! Hope you guys like the changes

@Mirlinthloth oh iam acutely aware not alreaders are american and sadly the truth of thmatter is most foreginers know American history better then Americans do, not that americans dont like hostory they just dont feel the need to know it which is kind of arogant I guess, but that being said I love American's they are like that old mutt of a dog we all have had at one point in our lives the mutt is so loveable and so friendly never has there been a truer or loyal friend to have and true to form, if you ask an American to give you the shirt off their back and the last two dollars in their pocket the will with out a second thought or regret later and really the only way to make an American truely mad is to flaunt your intelligence over them and make them feel dumb
Guest Tuesday, the 29th of March at 2:47 AM, 2011 edit delete reply
What American's are you referring to? They're stupid and incapable of rational thought without the news or apple telling them how they feel.

im pretty sure that if i remember history right, his idea of communism was much differnt then how russia applied it to the country.
holden Tuesday, the 29th of March at 4:13 PM, 2011 edit delete reply
@ someguy: I know and also the term marxian has nothing to do with communism. But most people that I'v com a cros see marx think communism and then equate whatever was just said to evillness

@ Guest: not every american is a irational idiot depending on a the new or apple. Take me for example I'm an American and I make rational decision and I don't whatch the news often or take its word for granted nor do I own any products made by Apple.

Abeo Wednesday, the 30th of March at 5:22 PM, 2011 edit delete reply

And yet laws have never been for "the people"... or at least not the general populace. In days of old, the laws existed to serve the desires of the nobility. These days, the laws exist to serve corporate interests.

And how have the people not risen up in rebellion lately?
Simple : they've been told that their slavery is freedom, that their oppression is happiness. They've been told that they have choice, when all "choices" serve the same ends.
